Gather sugar, water, corn syrup, flavoring, and coloring
Combine sugar, water, and corn syrup in a saucepan
Heat the mixture over medium heat until the sugar dissolves
Boil the mixture without stirring until it reaches the desired temperature
Remove from heat
Add flavoring and coloring
Pour the mixture into a greased or lined mold
Let it cool and harden
Break or cut into pieces
Store in an airtight container
