How to Make Cheesesteak?

Slice ribeye steak very thin

Season the steak with salt and black pepper

Heat a skillet or griddle over high heat

Add a little oil or butter

Cook the steak quickly until browned

Chop or separate the steak into smaller pieces while cooking

Add sliced onions if desired and cook until softened

Place provolone, American cheese, or Cheez Whiz over the hot steak

Let the cheese melt

Split a hoagie roll or sub roll

Toast the roll lightly if desired

Fill the roll with the steak and cheese mixture

Add sautéed peppers or mushrooms if desired

Serve immediately
