1/2 cup white school glue
1/2 cup water
Food coloring, optional
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 to 2 tablespoons contact lens solution containing boric acid and sodium borate
Mix the glue and water in a bowl
Add food coloring if desired
Stir in the baking soda
Add the contact lens solution a little at a time
Stir until the mixture starts to form slime
Knead the slime with your hands until it is smooth
Add a few more drops of contact lens solution if the slime is too sticky
Store the slime in an airtight container
