Boil 1 to 2 cups of water
Add 1 cinnamon stick or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes
Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly
Strain if using ground cinnamon
Drink warm or at room temperature
Drink once daily, preferably before meals or in the morning
Use Ceylon cinnamon if possible
Avoid adding sugar or sweeteners
Do not exceed 1 to 2 cups per day
