Wash and peel potatoes if desired
Cut potatoes into even fry-shaped strips
Soak potatoes in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes
Drain and dry potatoes thoroughly
Toss potatoes with a little oil and salt
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F to 400°F
Place potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer
Air fry for 15 to 20 minutes
Shake the basket halfway through cooking
Cook until golden and crispy
Add more salt or seasoning after cooking
