Thaw the frozen crab legs in the refrigerator overnight, or run them under cold water for 10 to 15 minutes
Fill a large pot with 2 to 3 inches of water and place a steamer basket inside
Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat
Add the crab legs to the steamer basket
Cover the pot with a lid
Steam the crab legs for 5 to 7 minutes if thawed, or 8 to 10 minutes if frozen
Remove the crab legs from the pot using tongs
Serve with melted butter, lemon wedges, or your preferred dipping sauce
