How To Make Homemade Pie Crust?

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

1 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes

6 to 8 tablespoons ice water

Mix flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl

Add cold butter and cut it into the flour until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs

Add ice water one tablespoon at a time

Mix just until the dough comes together

Divide the dough into two discs

Wrap each disc in plastic wrap

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface

Place in a pie dish

Trim and crimp the edges

Fill and bake as needed according to your pie recipe
