Gather fabric, fusible web, scissors, iron, parchment paper, and an optional patch template
Cut the fabric into the desired patch shape
Cut a piece of fusible web slightly smaller than the fabric patch
Place the fusible web on the back side of the fabric
Iron the fusible web onto the fabric according to the product instructions
Trim the patch edges neatly if needed
Remove any paper backing from the fusible web
Position the patch on the garment or item
Cover the patch with parchment paper or a pressing cloth
Press with a hot iron for the recommended time
Let the patch cool completely
Check that the edges are firmly attached
Repeat pressing if needed
Wash the item gently after the adhesive has fully set
