How To Make Japanese Green Tea Using Tea Leaves?

Boil fresh water, then let it cool to about 70–80°C

Measure 1 to 2 teaspoons of Japanese green tea leaves per cup

Place the tea leaves in a teapot or tea infuser

Pour the hot water over the leaves

Steep for 1 to 2 minutes

Strain or remove the tea leaves

Pour into a cup and serve immediately

Re-steep the leaves once or twice if desired
