2 cups water
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup instant coffee granules
2 cups vodka
1 vanilla bean, split, or 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan
Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves
Stir in instant coffee until fully dissolved
Remove from heat and let cool completely
Add vodka and vanilla
Pour into a clean bottle or jar
Seal tightly
Let age for 2 to 4 weeks before using
Store in a cool, dark place
