How to Make Minced Garlic?

Separate a garlic clove from the bulb

Peel off the papery skin

Trim the root end if needed

Slice the clove into thin pieces

Chop the slices into very small pieces

Continue chopping until finely minced

Sprinkle a little salt if desired to help break it down

Use the flat side of a knife to press and chop again for a finer mince

Gather the garlic and repeat until the pieces are uniform
