Harvest ripe olives
Remove leaves, twigs, and debris
Wash the olives
Crush or grind the olives into a paste
Mix the paste to help release the oil
Separate the oil from the paste using pressing or centrifugation
Collect the extracted liquid
Separate the oil from water and solids
Filter the oil if desired
Store the olive oil in clean, dark containers
