Wet your hands with water

Sprinkle salt on your hands

Take a portion of rice

Add filling in the center if desired

Shape the rice into a triangle, ball, or cylinder

Press gently to hold the shape without crushing the rice

Wrap with a strip of nori if desired

Serve immediately or store properly until ready to eat
