Fold a sheet of paper in half lengthwise
Fold it in half again to make a smaller rectangle
Fold the top corners down to form a triangle shape
Fold the triangle edges inward to make a narrow point
Fold the paper in half along the center crease
Hold the folded paper firmly by the base
Flick the pointed end downward quickly to create a cracking sound
Adjust the folds and try again if the sound is weak
