Gather cardboard, ruler, pencil, scissors or cutter, glue, decorative paper or paint, and a photo
Measure the photo size
Draw two identical frame shapes on the cardboard
Cut out the center of one shape to make the frame opening
Cut out the second shape as a backing piece
Decorate the frame piece with paper, paint, stickers, or fabric
Let the decoration dry completely
Place the photo behind the frame opening
Glue or tape the photo to the backing piece
Attach the frame piece to the backing piece, leaving one side open if you want to change the photo later
Cut a cardboard stand or hanger if needed
Attach the stand or hanger to the back
Trim any rough edges
Check that the photo is secure and the frame stands or hangs properly
