Place a line of rails on the ground
Place powered rails where you want the track to accelerate minecarts
Power the powered rails with redstone torches, levers, buttons, redstone blocks, or redstone dust
Space powered rails regularly along long tracks to keep minecarts moving
Use a flat or gently sloped path for easier track building
Connect rails around turns and corners as needed
Test the track with a minecart
Add more powered rails if the minecart slows down
Use detector rails or activator rails if needed for advanced setups
