Brew 1 cup of strong coffee or 1–2 shots of espresso
Heat 1 cup of milk
Whisk in 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
Add 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar or maple syrup
Add 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Whisk until smooth and hot
Pour the coffee or espresso into a mug
Add the pumpkin milk mixture
Top with whipped cream if desired
Sprinkle with a little pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
