How To Make Rice Pudding?

1 cup cooked rice

2 cups milk

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup raisins, optional

1 tablespoon butter

Combine the milk, sugar, salt, and butter in a saucepan

Heat over medium heat until warm

Stir in the cooked rice

Reduce heat to low

Cook, stirring often, until thick and creamy

Add the vanilla extract, cinnamon, and raisins if using

Stir well

Remove from heat

Serve warm or chilled
