How to Make Roasted Chestnuts?

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C)

Rinse and dry the chestnuts

Cut an X into the flat side of each chestnut

Place the chestnuts in a bowl of water for 10 minutes

Drain and pat the chestnuts dry

Spread the chestnuts on a baking sheet, cut side up

Roast for 20 to 25 minutes

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly

Peel the shells and inner skins while warm

Serve warm
