Take a square sheet of paper
Fold it in half, then unfold it
Cut or tear the paper into two equal rectangles if needed
Fold each rectangle lengthwise
Fold the corners of each strip diagonally inward to make pointed ends
Fold each strip again to make a compact shape
Place one strip horizontally and the other vertically
Interlock the two folded strips at the center
Tuck the ends into each other to lock the shape
Press the center firmly to flatten the shuriken
Adjust the points so the shape is even
