Extract the juice
Filter the juice
Boil the juice to concentrate it
Add lime or other clarifying agents if needed
Remove impurities
Evaporate more water until crystals form
Cool the syrup
Separate the sugar crystals from the remaining liquid
Dry the crystals
Refine and package the sugar
