How to Make Tomato Ketchup?

Wash and chop ripe tomatoes

Cook tomatoes in a pot until soft

Mash the cooked tomatoes

Strain the mixture to remove skins and seeds

Return the tomato pulp to the pot

Add sugar, salt, vinegar, and spices

Cook on low heat until thickened

Stir frequently to prevent sticking

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed

Cool the ketchup completely

Pour into sterilized bottles or jars

Store in the refrigerator
