Make sure the emote is uploaded and approved in Twitch Creator Dashboard
Use the correct emote code exactly as shown in Twitch
Type the emote code in chat without extra spaces or punctuation
Check that you have the required subscription, Bits, or channel points emote access
Verify the emote is enabled for the correct tier or reward
Refresh Twitch chat or reopen the stream if the emote does not appear
Clear browser cache or restart the app if needed
Disable browser extensions that may block emotes
Make sure chat settings are not hiding emotes
Confirm the channel is using Twitch emotes and not only third-party emotes
If using third-party emotes, install the required extension and enable it
Check that the emote is available in the region and on the platform you are using
Wait a few minutes after approval for Twitch to fully update the emote
Test the emote in a different browser or device
Contact Twitch Support if the emote still does not appear
