Press the keyboard backlight key, usually the brightness key with a keyboard light icon
Use Search + Alt + Increase Brightness if your model supports that shortcut
Open Quick Settings from the bottom-right corner
Adjust keyboard brightness if the option appears
Increase screen brightness if the keyboard light is tied to ambient lighting
Turn on the keyboard backlight in your Chromebook settings if available
Restart the Chromebook if the keyboard light is not responding
Update ChromeOS to the latest version
Clean the keyboard area if the backlight seems dim or uneven
Contact the manufacturer if your Chromebook does not have a backlit keyboard
