Lay the belt flat on a straight surface
Measure from the buckle end to the hole you use most often
Use a tape measure for accuracy
If there are no holes, measure from the buckle end to the point where the belt fastens
Compare the measurement to your waist size or pant size
For a new belt, choose a size 1 to 2 inches larger than your waist size
Check the belt maker’s size chart if available
