Measure the total length from one end to the other
Measure from pin center to pin center for chain length
Count the number of links if needed
Measure the pitch by measuring the distance between adjacent pins
Measure the inner width between the inner plates
Measure the outer width across the outer plates
Use a ruler, tape measure, or caliper for accuracy
Record the chain size in inches or millimeters
Compare the measurements to the manufacturer’s specifications
