Use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the distance across the circle through its center
Measure from one edge of the circle to the opposite edge passing through the center
If you know the radius, multiply it by 2
If you know the circumference, divide it by pi
If you know the area, calculate the radius first, then multiply by 2
