Keep your feet flat and together on the floor
Look straight ahead with your chin level
Place a flat object like a book on top of your head
Mark the wall where the bottom of the object meets it
Measure from the floor to the mark using a tape measure or ruler
Use a stadiometer if available for more accurate measurement
Measure at the same time of day for consistency
Repeat the measurement to confirm accuracy
