Use a microwave at low power in short intervals, stirring between each interval
Stop heating when most of the chocolate is melted and stir until smooth
Or set the bowl over a pot of barely simmering water without letting the bowl touch the water
Stir constantly until the chocolate is just melted
Remove from heat immediately to avoid overheating
Keep all utensils and bowls completely dry
Avoid letting any water, steam, or condensation contact the chocolate
Use the melted chocolate right away or keep it warm gently until needed
