Back up your old iPhone to iCloud or a computer
Turn on your new iPhone and place it near your old iPhone
Follow the on-screen Quick Start setup prompts
Use your Apple ID to sign in on the new iPhone
Choose to transfer data from the old iPhone or restore from backup
Keep both iPhones connected to Wi-Fi and power during transfer
Wait for apps, photos, messages, and settings to finish transferring
Check that your contacts, photos, apps, and accounts moved correctly
Re-enter passwords for apps and services if needed
Remove the old iPhone from your Apple ID if you are done using it
