Dilute with plenty of water
Mix with sodium thiosulfate if specifically needed for dechlorination
Use sodium bisulfite or sodium metabisulfite for bleach-neutralizing applications
Use hydrogen peroxide carefully in controlled amounts
Add sodium sulfite for industrial or laboratory neutralization
Ventilate the area well
Never mix bleach with ammonia, vinegar, acids, or other cleaners
Wear gloves and eye protection
