Chill the tin in the refrigerator until ready to serve
Remove the tin from the refrigerator just before opening
Dry the outside of the tin to prevent slipping
Check for a pull tab, key, or easy-open lid
If there is a pull tab, lift it slowly and peel back the lid
If there is a key, insert it into the designated slot and roll the lid open
If there is a traditional lid, use a clean spoon or butter knife to gently pry it up
Open the tin slowly to avoid damaging the caviar
Avoid using sharp tools that could puncture the tin or crush the contents
Transfer the caviar gently with a non-metal spoon if serving immediately
