Open Settings
Select About ChromeOS
Turn on Developer mode if required by your Chromebook model
Go to Developers or Linux development environment
Click Turn on
Follow the on-screen setup prompts
Choose a username
Set the Linux disk size if prompted
Wait for the installation to finish
Open the Terminal app from the app launcher
Use Linux apps from the app launcher after setup
