Open Facebook and log in
Tap the menu icon
Go to Settings & privacy
Tap Settings
Open Accounts Center
Tap Personal details
Tap Account ownership and control
Tap Deactivation or deletion
Select the Facebook account you want to pause
Choose Deactivate account
Follow the prompts
Confirm your password if asked
Tap Continue and finish deactivation
