How to Pickle Pickles?

Wash and dry cucumbers thoroughly

Trim a small slice from the blossom end

Pack cucumbers tightly into clean jars

Add garlic, dill, peppercorns, and other desired spices

Combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar if using

Bring the brine to a boil

Pour hot brine over the cucumbers

Leave a small amount of headspace at the top

Remove air bubbles with a clean utensil

Seal the jars with lids

Let jars cool to room temperature

Refrigerate for quick pickles or process in a water bath for shelf-stable pickles

Wait several days before eating for best flavor
