Deal 5 cards to each player, or 7 cards if there are 2 players
Place the remaining cards face down as the draw pile
Flip the top card of the draw pile to start the discard pile
On your turn, play a card that matches the top discard by suit or rank
Play an 8 anytime, and choose the suit for the next player
If you cannot play, draw one card
If the drawn card can be played, you may play it immediately
If you still cannot play, end your turn
Keep taking turns clockwise
When the draw pile is empty, reshuffle the discard pile except the top card to make a new draw pile
The first player to get rid of all their cards wins
