Open Minecraft
Sign in to your Microsoft account
Make sure you and your friends use the same Minecraft edition
Make sure all players are on compatible game versions
Choose a multiplayer method
Join a public server
Add the server address
Select the server and join
Join a friend’s world on LAN
Open the world to LAN from the host’s game
Join through the multiplayer tab if on the same network
Join a Realm
Accept the Realm invite
Join via invite from a friend
Open the Friends tab
Accept the invitation
Enable multiplayer settings if needed
Check privacy and parental controls
Make sure online multiplayer is allowed
Test your internet connection
Restart Minecraft if the server does not appear
