Rinse the chrome with water to remove loose dirt
Wash with mild soap and a soft microfiber cloth
Dry the surface completely with a clean microfiber towel
Apply a small amount of chrome polish or metal polish to a soft cloth
Rub the polish onto the chrome in small circular motions
Let the polish haze if the product instructions require it
Buff the chrome with a clean dry microfiber cloth until shiny
Repeat on dull or tarnished areas if needed
Use a soft toothbrush or cotton swab for tight spots and edges
Remove stubborn spots with a paste of baking soda and water
Wipe away residue with a damp cloth
Dry and buff again after cleaning
Apply a thin coat of wax or protectant to help maintain the shine
Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, and harsh cleaners
Clean chrome regularly to prevent buildup and spotting
