Send an SMS from your Airtel number: PORT
Receive the UPC code and its validity period by SMS
Visit a new mobile operator store or authorized retailer
Carry your Aadhaar card or other valid ID proof and passport-size photo if required
Fill the Mobile Number Portability request form
Provide the UPC code and your Airtel number
Complete KYC verification and submit documents
Choose a new prepaid or postpaid plan with the new operator
Wait for the porting process to complete
Keep your Airtel SIM active until the porting is finished
Insert the new SIM after the old Airtel SIM stops working
Verify that the new SIM is activated and your number is ported successfully
