Clear any pending dues on the BSNL number
Keep your BSNL SIM active until the port is completed
Generate the UPC by sending an SMS from your BSNL number to 1900 in the format PORT
Note the UPC and its validity period
Visit a Jio Store, Jio Retailer, or Jio authorized outlet
Carry a valid ID proof and passport-size photo if required
Submit the MNP port request form
Provide your BSNL mobile number and UPC
Choose the Jio prepaid or postpaid plan
Complete the biometric or KYC verification if asked
Receive the Jio SIM
Keep using the BSNL SIM until it stops working
Wait for the porting process to complete
Insert the Jio SIM after activation
Restart your phone and wait for network activation
Complete any final activation steps if prompted
Use the Jio SIM after successful activation
