How To Prepare Fries?

Wash and peel the potatoes if desired

Cut the potatoes into even strips

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes

Drain and dry the potatoes thoroughly

Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F to 375°F

Fry the potatoes in batches until soft and pale

Remove and drain on paper towels

Increase the oil temperature to 375°F to 400°F

Fry the potatoes again until golden and crispy

Remove and drain again

Season with salt immediately

Serve hot
