How to Prepare Soya Beans?

Sort and rinse the soya beans

Soak them in water for 8 to 12 hours

Drain and rinse again

Boil in fresh water until tender

Simmer for 1 to 2 hours, or until cooked through

Add salt only after the beans are soft

Drain and use in your recipe

For roasting, dry the soaked or cooked beans first

For sprouting, keep the soaked beans moist and rinse regularly

Store cooked beans in the refrigerator if not using immediately
