Pick leaves that are fresh, dry, and free of damage
Press leaves flat between sheets of paper inside a heavy book
Place a cardboard sheet or extra paper between stacked leaves
Leave the leaves pressed for 1 to 2 weeks
Use wax paper and an iron on low heat to seal leaves between sheets
Dip leaves in melted paraffin wax and let them dry
Coat leaves with glycerin and water solution to keep them flexible
Spray leaves with clear acrylic sealer to help preserve color
Laminate leaves for long-term display
Store preserved leaves in a cool, dry place away from sunlight
