Rinse mint gently under cold water
Pat dry completely with paper towels or a clean cloth
Trim the stems slightly
Store stems in a jar or glass with a little water
Cover the leaves loosely with a plastic bag
Refrigerate the jar
Change the water every 1 to 2 days
Wrap mint in a damp paper towel
Place the wrapped mint in a sealed bag or container
Refrigerate the wrapped mint
Freeze mint leaves in an airtight container or freezer bag
Freeze mint in ice cube trays with water or oil
Keep mint away from excess moisture
Remove any wilted or damaged leaves before storing
