Alternate your baby’s head position during sleep
Place your baby on the back to sleep for every nap and nighttime sleep
Change the direction your baby faces in the crib
Limit time in car seats, swings, and bouncers when not necessary
Give supervised tummy time several times a day
Hold your baby often in different positions
Switch arms when feeding your baby
Alternate sides when bottle-feeding
Encourage your baby to look both left and right
Reposition your baby’s head gently if they prefer one side
Use a firm, flat sleep surface with no pillows or positioners
Ask your pediatrician if you notice a flat spot or neck tightness
