Turn on the device you want to program
Press and hold the appropriate setup or device button on the Vizio remote
Wait for the LED light to stay on or blink
Enter the correct code for your device brand if required
Press the power button to test the remote
If the device turns off, press the device button again to save the code
If the code does not work, repeat with another code from the device list
Use the remote’s auto-search function if no code works
Point the remote at the device during programming
Replace the batteries if the remote does not respond
Reset the remote if needed and try programming again
