Take healthy, non-flowering stem cuttings about 4–6 inches long
Use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears
Cut just below a leaf node
Remove the lower leaves, leaving 2–3 leaves at the top
Remove any flower buds or blooms
Let the cut end dry for a few hours if desired
Dip the cut end in rooting hormone if available
Fill a small pot with moist, well-draining potting mix
Make a hole in the soil and insert the cutting
Firm the soil gently around the stem
Place the pot in bright, indirect light
Keep the soil lightly moist, not soggy
Wait for roots to develop over several weeks
Transplant into a larger pot or garden bed after rooting
Pinch back new growth to encourage bushier plants
