Clean and dry the skin area
Choose a fake tattoo type: temporary transfer, stencil, or body paint
Cut out the design if needed
Remove the clear protective film if the tattoo has one
Place the tattoo face down on the skin
Press a damp cloth or sponge firmly over the backing for 20 to 30 seconds
Peel off the paper backing slowly
Let the tattoo dry completely
Avoid rubbing or washing the area for a few minutes
Seal with a light dusting of translucent powder if desired
Remove later with baby oil, makeup remover, or rubbing alcohol
