Open your Google Doc
Place the cursor where you want the video link or embed
Click Insert
Click Link
Paste the video URL
Press Enter
If using a Google Drive video, upload the video to Google Drive first
In Google Docs, click Insert
Click Smart chips
Click File
Select the video from Google Drive
Click Insert
If you want the video visible in the document, use a screenshot or thumbnail image with a link to the video
Save the document
