Park close to the air pump with the tire valve easy to reach
Check the tire’s recommended PSI on the driver’s door sticker or owner’s manual
Remove the valve cap from the tire
Press the air hose chuck firmly onto the valve stem
Add air in short bursts
Check the pressure with the gauge
Stop when the tire reaches the recommended PSI
Remove the hose from the valve stem
Replace the valve cap
Repeat for any other tires that need air
